Protein C (at Chughtai Lab)

Protein C is a natural anticoagulant (blood thinner) that helps prevent abnormal clot formation. This test measures the activity or level of Protein C in the blood, using a sodium citrate (PT) vial sample. It is especially useful in diagnosing inherited or acquired clotting disorders, deep vein thrombosis (DVT), or unexplained blood clots.
