EBV IgG at Test Zone Diagnostic Center

The Epstein-Barr Virus (EBV) IgG test detects antibodies that indicate a past infection. The presence of IgG antibodies to the viral capsid antigen (VCA) shows that a person has been infected with EBV at some point, which is the virus that causes infectious mononucleosis (mono).
