Urine Legionella (At Chughtai Lab)

This test identifies antigens of Legionella pneumophila in urine. It is mainly used for diagnosing Legionnaires’ disease, a severe form of pneumonia. The test is highly specific, provides rapid results, and is particularly useful in patients with community-acquired or hospital-acquired pneumonia who are not responding to standard antibiotics.
